The Shedding Process
The Shedding Process is a music duo exploring the intersections of sound, tradition, and atmosphere. Combining folkloric instruments from different parts of the world with ethereal soundscapes, we create a distinctive sonic language that moves between the organic and the otherworldly.
Formed by Jerry Maneiro and Emiliano Silva, our work spans intimate acoustic performances, dynamic hybrid setups blending live instrumentation with electronic elements, and holding space for ceremonies. Whether it’s a meditation event, intimate circles, plant medicine journey, or a breath and movement practice, we use music to guide and support the sacred experience.
We’ve performed at retreats, curated events, public concerts, and ceremonial spaces, crafting sound experiences that are immersive, grounding, and deeply connected. Our first three tracks—Kamarata, Kawayo, and Apö—are available on Spotify, and we are currently in the studio creating new music to be released in 2025. The Shedding Process is an ongoing exploration of sound, connection, and the stories carried by music.
